Adrian Barrick has two roles at Haymarket. He was appointed global brand director of Campaign in July 2015, in addition to his role as editorial director of Haymarket’s Brand Republic Group, where he is responsible for helping the editorial teams of Campaign, PR Week, Brand Republic, Marketing and Media Week accelerate the transition to a digital and mobile-first world.
Since joining Haymarket in August 2014, Adrian has led the transformation of the UK portfolio, bringing together all of the company’s marketing, advertising and media channels under Campaign, launching Campaign in the US and Japan, and overhauling the brand in China and India.
Before joining Haymarket, Adrian was UBM’s first chief content officer, where he co-developed a hybrid community-driven content model and worked with teams in the US and UK to transform titles such as Information Week, EE Times and Building.
In a 29-year b2b career, Adrian has been a reporter, editor, publisher and – for four years – CEO of UBM’s Built Environment division. He has won a host of awards, including four PPA & BSME editor of the year awards, four PPA magazine and website of the year awards, and PPA publisher of the year.
