Emma has more years of experience in media than she would be entirely comfortable admitting to. Starting her career many moons ago in regional leaflet planning, Emma then made her way through a number of agency roles within both Publicis and IPG before joining Unilever back in 2005. FMCG featured heavily in her agency background having gained a valuable grounding working with great companies like P&G, L’Oreal and Mars amongst others. Over her 16 years at Unilever Emma has taken a variety of roles, always within media, within both local UKI business and also within the global HQ in London. In her time Emma has run media globally for both the Homecare and Refreshments categories before taking her current role leading the UK & Ireland media department across a stable of approximately 50 brands. Outside Unilever responsibilities Emma is also an active ISBA member, sitting on the Executive Committee, as well as managing her 2 most unruly employees, Isla and Dylan, in her most important job as mum.
