SpecialityHumphrey Ho, Managing Director, Hylink China, A Worldwide Partners Agency
A Canadian-born Chinese businessman with six years of working experience in China, Humphrey Ho comes from a tech startup background, where he founded Speechbobble, an enterprise social network that he later sold at the age of 23. After being awarded the "Top 30 Under 30" award, Humphrey has had the honor of working with top global brands across automotive, tech, fashion, and travel industries. In China, Humphrey was first the Business Director at Wieden+Kennedy Shanghai and was tasked with bringing in local partners and clientele. He subsequently became General Manager of Leagas Delaney Shanghai, overseeing the agency’s pivot from a project-based creative shop to a retained brand strategy and creative namesake. Humphrey then ventured to Google as Strategic Partner Leader where he oversaw programmatic efforts in mobile and video. Humphrey Ho is currently Managing Director at Hylink North America. He plays a crucial role in forming the agency's strategic partnerships, business development, talent deployment, internalization, and globalization processes. As Western brands' demand to enter the Chinese market rapidly increased, Humphrey seized the opportunity to spearhead the opening of Hylink’s North America headquarters in Santa Monica, California in 2016, with a New York office following in 2017. Given the agency's swift success in the travel and tourism space, Humphrey officially launched Hylink’s subsidiary Hylink Travel in September 2018 to establish its market position. Humphrey has been featured in various publications, with recent examples like The Drum, Digiday, Adweek, Campaign, and AdAge. Humphrey was named a finalist for Digiday's 2019 Future Leader award and was also featured by Forbes magazine as one of the top 8 Asian-Americans Shaping the Travel Industry. Under Humphrey's management, Hylink North America’s social, creative, and digital campaigns for industry leaders have been recognized by the Shorty Awards, The Drum Awards, and the ADDY Awards. The agency was named Top 8 Fastest Growing Agency by Adweek in 2019.
