Jo was appointed Chief Executive in May 2021 having joined Newsworks the previous year as Managing Director. Jo has extensive experience in the sector from her client-side roles at Cadbury and AB InBev to agency roles at Carat, Vizeum, and Dentsu Aegis Network. More latterly, Jo acted as a consultant to ISBA, Newsworks, and The Ozone Project, before joining Newsworks in January 2020.
As CEO of Newsworks, Jo has played a central role leading the news industry’s pioneering All Together campaign for the UK government. She has also modernised Newsworks’ identity – through new branding and a relaunched website – and overall narrative to better reflect the dynamism, vibrancy, and growing digital reach of the UK’s national news brands.
